Youngster raises almost £700 by getting hair chopped off for charity

A Richmond six-year-old has had her hair chopped off for charity.

Hannah Sisson had the haircut yesterday the day before she was due back at school.

Her hair will be donated to the Little Princess Trust, which provides real hair wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer or other medical conditions.

Mum Rizz said: “She has talked about doing this since she was four after a friend’s older daughter did it, and I had a school friend whose daughter lost her hair after cancer treatment.

“Her aim was to ask for donations in a hope to raise £100, at this point she has managed to raise £695.”
