A Richmond youth group is planing a carwash to raise funds for a trip to Germany.
Elevate, the youth department of the town’s Influence Church, sees more than 50 young people gather at the church every Friday.
Entry is free and the building aims to offer a safe and fun atmosphere for young people to hang out at.
The group is currently raising funds for a trip to Germany.
Around 20young people will travel to Mainz to help the local community and help build up a new youth program.
Over the course of a week the group will serve the local community with various activities and also run a couple of free events.
The group is raising funds to help with the cost of the trip and to buy some supplies for the programs they will help create and support.
The first way they are doing this is through a car wash on Saturday, March 25 at Influence Church Richmond.
The car wash will be on a ‘pay what you want’ basis.
