A Zumbathon raised almost £2,000 for a Richmondshire charity.
The event at Richmond School last month was organised by Leyburn fitness instructor Karolina Grochalska.
It raised money for Home-start Richmondshire, which aims to gives parents in the district the support they need to enable their child to have the best possible start in life.
Karolina said: “We raised £965 and it was matched by Barclays thanks to staff member Hannah Davenport, who was actively involved in preparing this event, so the final figure that went to charity was £1,930.
“The charity manager Andrea Hobbs said this was quite a lot of money for this small charity and was very grateful for the help.
“The money will support their new project – a support group for parents with twins, which is very close to my heart being a mum of twins myself.
“We had absolutely fantastic day, we danced for three hours non-stop, we had some amazing raffle prizes and participants said they were really happy with variety of styles presented by different instructors.”
