Richmondshire Remembers co-ordinator Gregan Davis is appealing for people from the area to come along and assist with putting up the display.

In keeping with the aim of Bridging Time, Generations and Communities, he is especially hoping to attract service veterans and children.

He said: “It is vitally important to keep telling the story of the sacrifice and bravery of previous generations who have enabled the us to live our lives in peace and freedom.”

The event will start at 10am in Friary Gardens and all are welcome.
